Dunblane lies between the mountain peaks of the Perthshire Highlands and the Carse of Stirling. The centrepiece of Dunblane is Dunblane Cathedral, making it the smallest city in the country. The Cathedral dates back to the 12th century and is one of Scotland's few surviving medieval churches.
Dunblane is just 5 miles from the city of Stirling which has many historic buildings to visit including Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. It is also an ideal base to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth, either by car or train, as well as exploring the neighbouring Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
